Q: Why can’t reps search
for reps?
Q: Why are physician’s limited to searching only one zip code?
|
|
| |
|
There are multiple reasons for the search limitations on the
site.
|
|
| |
|
- Pharmaceutical companies do not want the general public or vendors
reaching directly out to their reps. Narrowed searches along with ID’s
and passwords cut down on this possibility.
- The intention of the site is to offer physicians and their staff the
ability to search for the rep servicing their office. If physicians
need to contact reps from other areas, they can still call the company
to obtain that information.
- In this competitive environment, we thought it best to limit the amount
of information readily available to other competing representatives.

Q: My Company has assigned me
particular accounts. Can I choose certain offices instead of the entire
zip code? |
|
| |
|
Because the majority of pharmaceutical companies carve out territories
by zip code, assigning reps to individual accounts is not an option at this
time. Logistically, this would be very advanced. It would involve pre-loading
and keeping current with every physician office in the US (all specialties).
If you are not the right rep for that office, simply forward that information
onto the appropriate rep. |

| |
Q: Why do reps need to sign
in so often to check their information? |
|
| |
|
The pharmaceutical industry is a dynamic business. Products are assigned,
re-assigned, co-promoted, contracted out, sold, acquired…reps leave
one company and move to another…and there really is no end in sight.
To boast that RepRegistry.com has the most current information available,
reps need to check their information every 30 days. If there are no changes,
this can be done in less than 30 seconds each month. |

| |
Q: Why are there no reps coming
up for my zip code or a particular product? |
|
| |
|
The RepRegistry.com database is driven by the pharmaceutical representative’s
input. If there are no reps for a particular product or zip code then the
representative(s) have not entered their information into the site. Please
encourage your reps to make your life easier by distributing our “Dear
Pharmaceutical Rep” letter located on the Physician’s Tool page. |

Q: Where do I go if I forgot
my password? |
|
| |
|
Click “Forgot Password?” located just below the “Enter”
button in the red login circle. Enter your User ID in the Password Retrieval
page and your password will be emailed to the email you used when you set
up the account. |

Q: I am a rep for a medical
device company. Can I input my information? |
|
| |
|
Since our search tool allows physician offices to search by name, company,
or product, other industries such as medical supply or devices may find
RepRegistry.com a useful tool as well. If your products are too many to
list, you can just leave it blank or put in “Medical Supplies”. |
